Ministries

Christian community is central to the life of any church.  It is a distinguishing mark of those who follow Christ, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”  (John 13:35).  God has designed us to live and grow in community.  It is through ministry teams that we offer opportunities for involvement beyond Sunday worship.

Visionary Team – Elders, who are nominated and elected by the congregation are responsible for church oversight and leadership.

Leadership Team – This ministry team is comprised of our Pastoral staff, Elders, Ministry Team leaders, and the Church Treasurer.  They meet quarterly to collaborate, communicate, and implement the mission of the church.

Community Team – This ministry team encourages the congregation to serve others sacrificially and unconditionally through the giving of our time, talent, and financial gifts to local outreach projects, not-for-profit organizations, and missionaries.  With the guidance of this ministry team we extend our ministry reach locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

Discipleship Team – This ministry team focuses on growing our church family in their faith walk through worship, spiritual formation, baptism, church membership, and leadership development.

Nurturing Team – This ministry team engages in the process of caring for and encouraging the growth of our paid and volunteer staff.

Property Team – This ministry, with a vision toward the future, plans, cares for, and maintains our building and property with an atmosphere for worship, spiritual formation, fellowship, and mission.

Shepherding Team – This ministry team welcomes and connects people to the life of the church family through programming, mentoring, and small group experiences for people of all ages.
