 1 Corinthians 8:6

…that Jesus is the Christ , the Son of the living God, and proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world.  Matthew 16:16

…the Holy Spirit is God’s most intimate, powerful and mysterious presence with and in us.  The Holy Spirit is active when we sense a leading, challenge, support, or peace that is beyond our own understanding.  John 14:15-17; Acts 1:8

…the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we adhere to the authority of its teachings for all matters of faith and life.  2 Timothy 3:16-17.

…that the church is made up of people who are called to care for one another and those beyond the walls of our church building.  We believe in and practice the Great Commandment to “love God and love people” and the Great Commission to “make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 22:37-39; Matthew 28:19-20.

every person has worth as a creation of God, but that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23

…in the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life to those who trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. John 3:16

…those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him. We practice baptism by immersion in water as an outward sign of the inward work of salvation.  Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19.

…in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolic use of the bread and the juice of the vine.  1 Corinthians 11:23-28.

…in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and that one day he will return and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. John 20:1-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

…in the power of individual and community prayer.  Through prayer we have witnessed the miraculous power of God at work in our church family and the world.  Matthew 6:9-13

Our core beliefs…

Jesus is the Christ, Son of the living God, and is the only way to Heaven.

Christ was raised from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.

The Bible is the final authority, infallible, and divinely inspired by God.

The Great Commission: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20
